Flower Bookmark I
An easy to assemble bookmark for springtime
Great for class projects, scouts,
birthday party crafts or gifts. |
What you will need |
- bright color of fun foam
- green fun foam
- 12" green grosgrain ribbon about
1" wide
- paper fastener (brad)
- scissors
- fray check (available at fabric stores)
or clear nail polish

| 1) cut one flower out of yellow fun
foam |
2) cut one leaf out of green fun
foam |
3) lightly finish the loose ends of the ribbon with clear nail
polish or fray check
4) fold the flower in half and cut a very small snip
(about 1/4 inch) in the center
5) cut a similar slit near the edge of the leaf
6) cut a small slit in the ribbon, about 1/2 inch down
7) matching the holes, assemble the bookmark - leaf - ribbon -
flower
8) insert the paper fastener through the holes, fastening
behind the leaf
