4 Cooking Make a Friday night desert with Jello Presents Kids Cooking Fun.   You can learn  rules of the kitchen and cooking tips.  Afterwards you can get a few new family recipes from Kraft Kitchens.

7 Video Games Video Game links.  If you own any video or computer games, these sites will probably be the most popular with your kids this summer.   For younger children, hints can even be found for computer games such as Humongous' Freddi Fish and Pajama Sam.
Additional Activities: Instead of printing out pages and pages of information for one game hint.  Copy & paste the information that you want to a document such as Word, Word Pad or Note Pad, then print just that document.  Copy & paste can also be used to e-mail a hint to a friend.

8 Trip Planning At MapQuest,  you will find an excellent interactive online site that gives you the distance between two places of your choosing, then provides you with a map and directions. 
Additional Activities: Print a map and directions to use on your next road trip and let your children help you navigate.  Provide them with the starting miles, and the approximate miles for the trip, then you can ask them, "How much longer?".

9 Berenstain Bears A fun site for younger children can be found at the Berenstain Bears homepage.  Paper doll cutouts, coloring books and an online story. Children's Activities
10 County Government Select your county at  Florida Counties,  then select County Government Links.  If your public library has a web site, you will find it here.  Some libraries will allow you to search for available books and put a hold on them from your own home.  This can be a big time saver for last minute reports.. 11 Jaques Cousteau Find biographical information about Jaques Cousteau at the My Hero site (Earthkeeper Hero).  Then visit one of the largest Internet sources of sea life information at Sea World.

28 Full Moon Star Child   offers 2 levels of information, and activities about space.  You will find more space activities in Kid's Space at Liftoff to Space Exploration from NASA.  Print out a picture of the planets to color, cut them out then use them  to create a mobile.  Play interactive games to test your space knowledge.  Before playing games you are asked to choose the format that works best on your computer: CGI, Java, or JavaScript.
